DEFENSIVE DRIVING
Designed to train drivers of fleet vehicles in various possible circumstances that they may have not had the ability to learn at the time of getting their license and have gone on driving, in the same manner, creating bad habits that could be dangerous to themselves and other drivers on the roads. These downfalls are assessed and attempts are made to rectify the problems that are encountered. This also alleviates the aspect of vehicle abuse in the light of reducing maintenance costs and insurance. Some companies that we have dealt with have managed to claim the cost of the course from their “Skills Development Levy” depending on how efficient their human resources department is.
DYNAMIC DRIVING
Designed for the individual or for groups, this flagship course attempts to cover all aspects of practical driving in different driving conditions weather wet or dry conditions. The main focus is to institute driver confidence and
awareness and includes some High Performance track and handling abilities.
This course includes: Skid Pan Training, Dynamic Handling Track, High Speed Oval (when available), Straight Track, Aquaplaning Facility and Lunch.
YOUNG DRIVERS PROGRAM
Specifically designed for the new driver, the training emphasises on driver confidence and allowing them to experience in a controlled environment the element of surprise when encountered with a situation. The effects of excessive speed and general road safety. We have had occasions that the certificate of competency that have been issued to clients has been accepted by some insurance companies and have either reduced the clients excess or rebated the premium.
OFF-ROAD DRIVING
This course offers clients the opportunity to learn and practice 4x4 advanced driving techniques. There is an interactive briefing in the morning which will explain the theory of Off-road driving. The session will then proceed to the 4x4 tracks to do practical advanced driving in a variety of different off road terrain. Training in Low range and High Range Gear selections and the usage thereof along with training in Vehicle abuse in order to understand the limitations of the off road vehicle that is being used and minimise damage to the vehicle being driven.
TEAM BUILDING
Many Companies in todays market, see Team building as an essential part of the office and social environment, but unfortunately, due to the recession, a lot of companies see team building as an expense. In the case of an advance driving course, not only do we emphasis the competitive factor, but also add the element of training allowing the company to claim costs through the “Skills Development Levy” and therefore Team Building can result in a NO expense for the company in the long term.
